In loving memory of
Bradford W. Greene

2019-07-10 20.38.38.jpg

The Greene Fellowship was founded in memory of Bradford W. Greene. His kindness, openness, and unwavering support of artists are the foundational principles of our organization.

In August of 2021, Brad passed away suddenly and unexpectedly. In the wake of this tragedy, his partner, Hannah Agosta, and dear friend, Alexander Blume, formed the Greene Fellowship to honor his memory.

The co-founders believe, as Brad did, that the world benefits and heals from people pursuing their creative passions. Brad supported Hannah early on in her career as an illustrator. Because of his emotional and financial support, Hannah was able to focus full-time on her art career and acheive success in her field.

In this spirit, the co-founders created this fellowship to provide artists with the space and time, through financial and professional support, to further their creative pursuits and acheive sustainability in their art careers.
